OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Our Operation Christmas Child ministry collects items all throughout the year to put in thousands of boxes to send overseas through the global OCC ministry. Volunteers sort items and prepare for our yearly packing party in October/November. For more information on how to get involved contact Donna Rhoden!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Volunteers at Food for Thought pack food bags for children in Calcasieu Parish experiencing food scarcity. These bags are delivered by volunteers to local area schools each week. Food for Thought meets in our annex building each Tuesday night at 5:30. Anyone is welcome to drop by and help!
LOCAL MISSIONS
SSBC partners with local neighborhoods to bring the Gospel to children and families in different areas! We do this through block parties, kickball games, and holiday celebrations throughout the year. For more information on how to get involved, contact Emily Cutrer or Jeff Bankens.

FOSTER THE FAMILY
Foster the Family is a multi-faceted ministry serving the foster and adoptive families and children in our community. This ministry hosts family meetings in our Children’s Department, delivers food to parents taking new children into care, provides training and supplies to families, and more. WIDOWS’ MIGHT
Our Widow’s ministry meets once a month for a luncheon and fellowship together! Volunteers help prepare and serve food, as well as participate in activities for the luncheon. For more information about Widows Might, contact Sheila Stockwell.
